I recently had the pleasure of staying at Melville Castle Hotel and it was truly fit for royalty. the luxurious one-bedroom suite was spacious and beautifully decorated with a grand copper tub that was perfect for a relaxing soak. the afternoon tea at the castle was a delight for the senses, with traditional finger sandwiches, homemade scones, and a selection of delicate pastries that were simply delicious. the inviting Library Bar was the perfect place to unwind with a classic 'Old Fashioned' cocktail, surrounded by leather couches and book-lined shelves. The grounds of the hotel were stunning and provided a serene setting for a peaceful walk along the tree-lined drive. the staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. the location was ideal for exploring Edinburgh, with the city's main attractions just a short drive away. Whether you're looking to immerse yourself in castle life or simply unwind with a delicious meal and a good book, this hidden gem has something for everyone. I can't wait to return and explore more of what this historic hotel has to offer.
